All-metal wire cushion – Type GMK

Properties

  • Material: CrNi steel wire
  • high dynamic load capacity with low spring travel at the same time
  • almost constant natural frequency over the entire load range
  • Insulators are resistant to corrosion and aging at temperatures between -90 to +400 °C

Description

The all-metal wire cushions or damping cushions are made of CrNi steel wire. The knitted wire mesh is pressed into shape using a tool, which gives it its elastic properties. The GMK type wire cushions are used for the elastic passage of exhaust pipes and as a construction element for decoupling vibrating components.
